If you love funky, fresh and colorful design, this interior store is a must-visit. It’s the kind of place where you can browse for a long time, discovering unique and stylish finds. From eye-catching rugs and atmospheric lamps to rare clothing pieces and cute hair clips, it has everything to fill your home with color and personality.
Even if this colorful interior is not your style, you’ll still find plenty of fantastic decorations and gift-worthy treasures!

Heim started as a store at Bryggen in 2019 by Jeanette and Eirik. Today their store is located in Strandgaten and they’ve got a whole team of employees. Their dog Luca is also often a part of the welcome committee!

2. Gløtt

Another quirky store is Gløtt, located at Bryggen. Bryggen Wharf is so full of history and should absolutely be a part of your exploration of Bergen. In between the narrow alleys you can find both cafés and stores. Gløtt is another colorful store full of great souvenirs and unique items. Here you can get everything from candles and purses, to greeting cards and local snacks.

Such a cool location! Here you can see pillows, chili sauces, posters and so much more. They also sell delicious chocolate from Fjåk, who now also has their own café that you can find in our café guide.

3. Julehuset

Julehuset is the house to the far right in the picture.

Julehuset is a Christmas themed store open all year round. It is located in one of the old houses at Bryggen. This building is charming with its crooked floorboards and narrow interior. It is three stories tall and full of Christmas ornaments, decorations, trolls and souvenirs.

Such a fun place to visit, especially for Christmas enthusiasts!

They offer everything from traditional Christmas ornaments to the more modern ones. And there is so much stuff to look through!

Rain ponchos are great for strolling through rainy Bergen. And they sell wonderful Bryggen and Bergen t-shirts!

4. Welcome Home

Welcome Home is a pretty new store in Bergen. Their first store started in Holmefjord in Bjørnafjorden and in 2024 they got their second location in the heart of Bergen. It is close to the train station and Bybanen-stop called Nonneseter.

This store is great for those of you that enjoy coastal living. Their interior is described on their website as feminine and modern.

5. Regn

Regn is a fantastic store in Bergen that specializes in clothing and accessories. Given that Bergen is one of Norway’s rainiest cities, the name “Regn” – the Norwegian word for rain – couldn’t be more fitting. Their collection features comfortable, classy pieces with a sleek Scandinavian aesthetic. It’s also the perfect spot to pick up a stylish new raincoat!

They also have a wide variety of rainproof bags from brands like Rains. While walking around in the city you will definitely notice that these are very popular at the moment.

A lot of basics that can never go wrong. I felt the fabric of some of these shirts and they were so soft.

A table full of colorful and vibrant hair clips and hairbands is a fun addition to the clothing store. They even have a shelf with special candles and a wall full of sunglasses.
