📌 USF Verftet, Grieghallen & Kulturhuset i Bergen
💸 Prices vary — check the link below.
Each summer, the city of Bergen transforms into a sanctuary for metalheads from around the globe. Over four days, Beyond The Gates ignites the spirit of heavy music across three stages: the legendary Grieghallen, the industrial cool of USF Verftet, and the cultural hub Kulturhuset i Bergen.
This year’s gathering summons titans of the genre like Opeth, King Diamond, Triptykon, Paradise Lost and Gehenna.
But it’s not just about the music. This festival also invites fans to go deeper with the “Beyond the Gates Experience” — immersive excursions and curated journeys into Norway’s wild landscapes and rich cultural history, offered before and during the festival.
Important to note: All venues enforce an 18+ policy due to local alcohol regulations. Underage attendees are welcome only when accompanied by a sober guardian who is at least 18.
Festival-goers can gear up with exclusive merch available on-site, featuring both official festival apparel and artist-specific goods.
Against the dramatic backdrop of Norway’s fjords and mountains, this is more than just a music festival — it’s a celebration of metal’s spirit, power, and community.
